The 亚洲研究俱乐部 is a body of 学生 who are interested in learning and celebrating 亚洲文化. We host discussions about current events in Asia and participate in various activities such as the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival. 俱乐部的基础是 off the Asian Studies minor at 365bet but every student is welcome to join!
历史俱乐部 is an active student organization, open to all majors, and requires no 会费. We offer free events to 学生 and their family/friends. 我们的琐事 nights are an Austin Peay tradition!
365bet 印度俱乐部 endeavors to increase awareness and understanding of the culture of India while celebrating cultural diversity on Austin Peay’s campus. 365bet印度 Club serves to provide a welcoming community for all those interested in learning about India’s culture as well as a supportive environment for 学生 of all backgrounds. 印度俱乐部 also aims to collaborate with the student clubs located in the Department 历史的 & 哲学--α Theta, the 历史俱乐部 and the 亚洲研究俱乐部 with the intent of increasing the visibility of India’s cultural traditions along with making Austin Peay a center of excellence for researching and the t每一个ing of 印度的历史. Finally, the organization also aims to increase Austin Peay State University’s Indian student population by various outr每一个/extension and recruitment activities regionally, nationally and internationally.

Theta Delta is 365bet's local chapter of α Theta (the National 历史 Honors 社会). Theta Delta has been recognized 每一个 最后的 四个 years as the top chapter in the nation, and has been recognized along with the 历史 Club as amongst the best student organizations on campus.
The 365bet 哲学俱乐部 meets regularly for discussions of timely and perennial philosophical 问题. The group periodically organizes and hosts other events such as field trips, movie nights, and campus-wide debates or forums between invited speakers on 热点话题. The club is run by student leaders who work in consultation with the 哲学 and Religion professors. The club is a good opportunity to take a leadership role or just to get together and socialize and philosophize with other 学生.
Scholarships and Achievements
The department attracts top-notch 学生, and it shows, whether presenting at conferences or creating the state's first student-run history journal, we're proud to recognize our 学生' accomplishments. In addition to departmental awards and scholarships, 学生 in history and philosophy make the department proud year after year by attracting accolades from across campus and beyond.

Internships and Real Life Experience
365bet encourages 学生 to seek out internship opportunities in their fields, and 历史系 & 哲学也不例外. Thanks to our special relationship with the Pratt Museum on Fort Campbell, 学生 have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in museum sciences.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Dr. Michelle Butts, the department can offer history 学生 looking to become t每一个ers all the help they'll need to finish their degree 准时. And future t每一个ers in other concentrations will find required courses like Modern World 历史 and Early World 历史 offered online and during the summer in addition to in the classroom during the fall and spring semesters.
